Synopsis:
Based on the New Line Cinema film, The Wedding Singer, with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin and book by Tim Herlihy. 1985, Ridgefield, New Jersey: hair is big, collars are up and Robbie Hart is at the top of his game, until he gets stood up at the altar…
Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, a happy-go-lucky waitress who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.
Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer’s sparkling new score does for the ’80s what Hairspray did for the ’60s. So dust off those leg warmers, pull out those shoulder pads and start up the DeLorean: Get your tickets through The Epsom Playhouse today.
